Materials used in these masks are the same materials that are used in N95 masks. These masks are not N95 masks but have the same rating. Made with USA made 3M Melt Blown Materials.
MASK USAGE RECOMMENDATIONS:
Flat masks (sometimes called surgical masks) do not seal around the face as we all have different and beautiful shapes.
If you do not have access to respirators then, ASTM Level 2, or ASTM Level 3 or these masks would be the next best masks to use. These masks are equivalent to a level 2 or 3 but we cannot state that because they have not been thru the expense of the formal testing as of this date. However, these masks have been tested in the European (EU). and could bear the CE mark. The European CE mark is equivalent or better than having the (US) FDA approval or the NIOSH Approval. We are in different times now and the Cares act allows leniency because of the shortage of mask producers and the time it takes to get approvals. This does not mean you are less protected unless other manufacturers blatantly use the wrong materials to produce the masks or if they are just uneducated in mask materials. Our masks are made of QUALITY materials.
